Working in MS-DOS
Wrote stories and small text based games
While I have only worked professionally for four years in the industry I have been working with computer as early as 1989 writing small games in DOS. Throughout Junior high and High school I assisted in the repair of many computers and even fixed a district wide outage with the school server in my senior year. I went on to the military where I worked on radios but continued to work with computers as additional duties to include writing a database for the Maintenance Operation Center.
In my current role I am responsible for providing support for our partners and their clients. The platforms used range from Active Directory (AD) to Azure AD, Gsuite for Google, and AWS. Desktop support for Windows 8.1 through Windows 11 and Windows Server 2016 and newer. All software types from desktop apps to web apps.
Capable of troubleshooting and repairing all hardware even down to the component level
Since I started work I have always provided support to customers in one way shape or form. Even in the military fixing radios I had to have good customer service supporting our air traffic controllers. With my extensive knowledge and training I can handle just about any situation thrown at me.
I have written in Visual Basic, C++, Java, Python, HTML, and CSS. While I have written in the languages I am not fully proficient and have done so using the help of Google. I do understand the basic syntax of each of the languages and can debug Code if needed.
Little did I know I would end up in IT and by the grace of God I did. While learning the ends and outs of Training it was not until recently I started documenting my training and journey. Currently I have one Github Project I completed while doing task needed for a Webinar on azure. I hope to add many more in the future.

District down
After moving to a small town and having very few electives to choose from I became a librarian aid. Finding 10 computers broken I got permission to repair the computer if possible. I was able to repair 8 out of the 10. Not to long after, the District server crashed and I was pulled out of the class by the superintendent's request to restore the server. At this time controls were not in place and a Elementary student had changes a computer name to match another computer on the network, in fact the computer right next to it. After bypassing the conflict and restoring the server I spent the remaining school day at the elementary looking for the computer. Found it, it was in the computer lab.
Access Database
After a recent flight inspection we were tasked with creating a back up database to track all our jobs in the event of a internet outage. Finding an old Access Database on our network drive i redesign and repaired the code allowing us to input and track our jobs including running reports.
Help Desk Technician
Currently, I work for a company that supports MSPs with there software and desktop support needs. The MSPs provide all the documentation and Users call in when they have issues. We troubleshoot and close the ticket. If there is something that we cant repair remotely or the MSP has designated as they must repair we hand the ticket off to them. We perform tasks such as user management in all platforms, Windows troubleshooting and updating, Software troubleshooting and update, and much more.
